Reflecting on the AIA Vision Show 2012
FSI Technologies Inc., in partnership with Eye Vision Technology, hosted a booth at this year’s AIA Vision Show in Boston, MA. Despite an unexpected power outage the first day, our engineers found the show to be a successful opportunity to show off our latest FSI and EVT innovations including a 3D scanner and smart camera. The event was also a chance to learn about other techniques being used in the field.

Spring Cleaning!
Spring may be the perfect season to clean out the shop and take stock of all the unnecessary or unusable products you have on-hand. If those products include old encoders, counters or sensors – FSI Technologies Inc. may be able to repair or replace those valuable products, saving you time and money in the long run. Avoid unnecessary “downtime” by keeping spare, functioning products your machinery needs on the shelf.

Our Latest Vision
Our latest vision system to go out into the field is proving to be a key resource in automotive assembly process control. The CVS-700 vision unit was constructed to image two automotive parts needing to be aligned for proper assembly. The camera element views the parts. The machine vision software measures the distance the parts need to be rotated and tells the assembly machine how far to move them to align the products correctly. Because this unit is a core part of the process control (no “bypass switch is possible) and requires the highest level of reliability, an FSI solution is the natural choice. An FSI solution is robust and supported by powerful yet user-friendly software. The result is a total ownership plan for complete in-house supportability. If you believe our CVS-700 can help your manufacturing efforts, we hope you’ll give us a call.
Motionless 3D Vision System
The latest development in our PowerEye family is a cost-effective 3D vision system that does not require motion for scanning. This unique system, built at our Lombard, IL factory is powered by EyeVision software with 3D image processing capabilities. Best of all, its economic price point is easy on your budget. For more information about this system, please contact FSI Technologies Inc.
